Fiona Leel and her dogs Millie, Gem & Ryat

I'm Fiona Leel and I am a committee member at D.A.A.T.C. I have been a member of the club for 5 years. I am also one of the trainers, I take the beginners road safety (basic obedience) class and the pre-beginners agility class.
I am a self employed dog walker and pet sitter, which means I spend all day with dogs - what could be better!! Muddy Legs
As an alternative to kennels, I board people's dogs in my house when the owners are on holiday etc. I also walk customer’s dogs on a daily basis while their owners are at work or for whatever reason are unable to walk their dogs themselves.
Doing this job lets me spend plenty of time with my own three dogs.

Millie is a 6 year old collie X, I got her from PADS rescue centre in Perthshire, she was 5 months old and was so full of energy the centre were finding it difficult to find the right home for her. I took her home and she spent her first couple of years coming to work with me and the horses. She loves riding out with the horses, and likes to keep active through the day. She is a very loving dog and rarely leaves my side. She is now a successful agility dog and has won many rosettes and trophies.

Gem is a 3 year old border collie (W.S.D.) she came to me through word of mouth, she was 8 months old and had already been in three previous homes. She was a bit of a troubled wee thing when I got her and still has a few issues! Everyone gets a cuddle when they meet Gem, but she's not too keen on being told what to do and likes to think she's the boss of the house!
She is now competing in agility and (when she isn't suffering from stage fright) she does very well.

Ryat is just a few months old, he is red tri-colour border collie. Due to only ever having rescue dogs before, he is my first puppy and we're having a great time together. He is bred from successful working dogs and is a very handsome young man. I hope to also compete with him in agility.
